The Martial Pillar
The Martial Pillar describes characters who have honed their fighting edge. Examples might be stalwart shield bearers, swashbucklers and sword slashing death dealers, gun slingers, and those who excel at shadow craft, sneaking mighty blows behind their foes.
The Martial pillar combined with others can be used to demonstrate various characters’ prowess. For example, Sage Berserker Mage as a learned spell sword savant, Operative Poisoner as a stealthy assassin with the power to strike fear even head-on, or even an Aegis Necromancer Soldier as a sturdy and adaptive death knight.
The Soldier is the pinnacle example of this profession, and is thus the main Martial pillar. The Operative and Berserker are Specializations and cannot be purchased as Support pillars.

Soldier
Highest armor cap
Repair armor from fallen foes
Weapon arts - attack and defend
This specialization represents a Character’s ability to engage in thoughtless slaughter, dealing titanic blows while receiving wounds that would fell less hardy foes. Their fury knows no bounds, and none shall deny them the Berserker’s right to bloody victory.
Berserker

Powerhouse of attacks and stances
This specialization represents a Character’s ability to outplay and disrupt their foes. An Operative knows that a stealthy blow to the temple or chop to the throat are often more appropriate than a bloodcurdling scream, and they know when to apply them in tandem with their blades.

Powerful one-off precision strikes
Shadow arts and adaptability
