The Arcane Pillar
The Arcane Pillar describes characters who are masters of the magical arts, dealing damage, controlling crowds with magic, or supplementing their prowess with buffs and dispelling debuffs. Examples might be a glass canon magic blasting mage, a spell slinging elementalist laughing in the face of elemental damage, or a spell wreathed combat technician with an answer to every problem.
The Arcane pillar combined with others can be used to demonstrate various characters’ prowess. For example, Aegis Soldier as an armored bulwark with a magical and ability-based counter to most situations, Evoker Berserker who rains powerful lacerating elemental blows and spells for close and ranged combat, or Mage Mage Sage, whose business is knowing their enemies’ weaknesses and blasting them away with deep pools of arcane energy.
The Mage is the pinnacle example of this profession, and is thus the main Arcane pillar. The Evoker and Aegis are Specializations and cannot be purchased as Support pillars.
Arcanists At a Glance
This main Pillar represents a Character’s acumen in channeling the magic that permeates the elemental structures of the world. Masters of both the destructive and defensive capabilities of magic, the Mage is the epitome of its myriad facets.
Mage
Throw concentrated magic from a huge pool
Protections and spell counters
Regain pool and reset all abilities 1x
This specialization represents a Character’s arcane connection to the basic elements of creation. Manipulating and enhancing these forces allows the user to create surges of destructive energy in both themselves and their foes.
Evoker

This specialization represents a Character’s mastery of the defensive arcane arts.
